"Hill Street Blues" Officer Bobby Hill’s (Michael Warren) Police Shirt

The police uniform shirt was acquired by the production for use in "Hill Street Blues (1981-1987) for Michael Warren's character "Officer Bobby Hill". Light blue men's short sleeved polyester uniform shirt with button down front, double breasted pockets with button closures, epaulet on each shoulder, and patch on proper right sleeve. Patch is a shield shape with navy blue background and yellow embroidery throughout that reads "HILL ST. PCT. / METROPOLITAN / [torch] / POLICE". Cuff of each sleeve has three button closures. Above proper left breast pocket is a piece of material with two eyelets intended for a badge to be attached. White tag on interior of center seam near bottom on proper right panel with handwritten text reads “HILL".
