Two (2) Awards Given to Vincent Price

Description

Step into the shadowy world of classic horror and cinematic excellence with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own two original awards presented to the incomparable Vincent Price — the Master of the Macabre, the Gentleman of Gothic, and one of the most iconic figures in film history.

Award #1: The Napoleons of Crime Certificate (1977) presented to Vincent Price on September 16th, 1977, this rare award from the mysterious and elite society known as The Napoleons of Crime is a tribute to Price’s lifelong embodiment of villainy, darkness, and charismatic menace. The text honors his "constant and nefarious representation of villainous standards, as well as for his apt personification on film, stage, recording and print of the dark and eldritch powers which continually serve as a check upon the forces of good."  Signed by Founder James Moriarty and Honorary Professor Mark McPherson.  Features a wax seal adorned with a gold-leaf banner on the proper right side.  Housed in a thin black plastic frame with gold interior trim.  Includes a personal handwritten message on the reverse: “With all best regards / The Napoleons of Crime” - signed by Mark McPherson.

Award #2: The Count Dracula Society "The Mrs. Ann Radliffe Award" was awarded to Price on March 21, 1965, this framed certificate from The Count Dracula Society honors Price with The Mrs. Ann Radcliffe Award, named after the pioneering Gothic novelist. Presented by society founder and horror historian Donald A. Reed, the award recognizes Price’s contribution to the cinematic arts — particularly his masterful presence in horror and suspense.  Text reads: "The Count Dracula Society / Presents / The Mrs. Ann Radcliffe Award / To / Vincent Price / For His Outstanding Achievement In Motion Pictures".  Signed by President Donald A. Reed.  Housed in a brown wooden frame with gold inner trim.
