"House Arrest" T.J. Krupp's (Herbert Russell) Battery Powered Backpack
Description
Battery powered assault backpack created for the production of "House Arrest" (1996) for use by Herbert Russell's character "T.J. Krupp." Backpack was used in film to intimidate the parents into staying in the basement to work out their issues. Backpack is made out of a blue cotton canvas like material with a piece attached to the top made out of foam that looks like a car battery. Attached to backpack are red and yellow jumper cables, a wooden fixture that holds four empty upside-down water bottles that have clear cords protruding out, and a part of the battery that has a gauge on the proper right side and text throughout that reads “NO NOT TOUCH / 6/2 AMP / DUAL RATE / BATTERY CHARGER /...”. There is another label along the front bottom edge of wooden fixture that reads “STAND 50 FEET BACK”.
